Treatment and prevention of acute gouty arthritis attacks

治療痛風或 抗發炎作用

D 已證實對人之胎兒有傷害，若是疾病對於孕婦有生命威脅或安全的藥品已無法治療的情況下，權衡利弊，仍可使用。

Safe

Gouty arthritis(acute attacks)
Adults: initial 1mg, then 0.5mg q1h or 0.5mg twice daily, max.: 1.5mg/day ; 0.5mg once to twice daily until relief.(重複療程需間隔3天)
In patients who were already receiving prophylaxis at the time of their flare, some experts give 1mg, then 0.5 mg after 1hour, resume the previous prophylactic dose after 12hours.
Gout (prophylaxis)
0.5 mg once or twice daily; maximum:1mg/day

Gouty arthritis(acute attacks)
Day 1: 1.2 mg at the first sign of flare, followed in 1 hour with a single dose of 0.6 mg (max: 1.8 mg in 1 hour) or 0.6 mg (0.5 mg, available in countries other than the US) 3 times daily on the first day of flare (max total dose: 1.8 mg on day 1).
Day 2 and thereafter: 0.6 mg once or twice daily until flare resolves.
Gout, prophylaxis during initiation of urate-lowering therapy:
0.6 mg once or twice daily (maximum: 1.2 mg/day). In patients with GI intolerance, some experts give 0.6 mg every other day

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain

Blood dyscrasias (granulocytopenia, thrombocytopenia), hepatic failure, severe (cardiac, gastrointestinal renal) disease

1.Cardiac, gastrointestinal, hematologic, hepatic and renal disease
2.腎功能不良者須調整劑量。

服藥期間避免食用高蛋白飲食（動物性肉類、蛋類、奶製品、海產和豆類）
